Overview: Clues from Comets illustrates the importance of observing carefully and demonstrates modern methods of solving a mystery as cryptic as the nature of comets. In this talk (suitable for kids), Dr. Reitzel investigates the process of using observations to understand cause-and-effect relationships between events, exemplified by our understanding of comets over time.

Bio: Dr Reitzel is an astronomer at Griffith Observatory. He has a Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics. He is also on board of directors of the non-profit Black Rock Observatory.
