Overview: Have you ever wondered how the next great space observatory was built and what it took to get to orbit? Casey will discuss the revolutionary components that allow Webb to function along with the journey that Webb took through manufacturing, testing, and launch to bring us the next generation of stunning views of the cosmos.

Bio: Casey has spent the last four years work on the James Webb Space Telescope managing hardware configuration and logistics, including supporting some launch preparations in French Guiana. Her passion for the space industry began at a young age, growing up near Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. She has a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management from Texas A&M University.
