Overview: In this talk, Miko explores some of the challenges of getting to Mars and discusses the dangers of living on the red planet.

Bio: Mikolaj Zielinski is a Polish-born but Dubai-based computer software engineer and wannabe astronaut. He was one of 100 global candidates shortlisted to embark on a mission to Mars organized by Mars One. Mikolaj completed a two-week training program at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonauts Training Centre in Russia in 2001. In 2019, Mikolaj participated in a simulation of a Mars surface exploration mission organized by Astroland.
