The first major Chinese Theme Camp, Chinese Beyond Borders will showcase costumes inspired by Chinese lanterns and also by this year David Best's Temple! The Lantern girls come as far away as Taiwan, Singapore and NYC to strut their stuff on Kostume Kult's runway. DJ from the Middle Kingdom to fill the hours before the ball drop with the funky sounds of the orient, along with Dragon Dance from Shanghai, and try your luck at getting a red envelope from us with an auspicious good luck charm for the year! Dress code: Chinese of course, like the rest of us! Make sure you get outfitted at Kostume Kult for the occasion! Come and count down with us BYOC (Champagne) at Kostume Kult located at Esplanade at 3:30 and stay celebrating the New Day with some NYC Homegrown DJ's after the Ball Drops, HAPPY NEW DAY!
