Description:

Leonardo knew about many of the uses of hemp ... It's a soil remediator and one of the fastest growing, most useful biomass crops for manufacturing that you can farm. Industrial hemp fibre crops harvest high volumes of carbon very quickly, so farming and building hemp housing is a very effective way to store carbon - each build locks up tonnes of it. The buildings are also thermally effective so you have reduced operational energy costs. The broad opportunities for value adding to fibre crops mean that wherever communities work together with farmers, they can potentially create major positive change.
