Description:

Beekeepers and wannabees come together for a hivemind discussion of all things bee. Want to be a beekeeper but don’t know where to start? Live in an urban area but have concerns about zoning &/or neighbors? Have a theory on sustainable varroa mite management? Opinions on which bee between the Italian, Carnolian, Russian, & Africanized bees make the best honey? Healthy Queen propagation and management? How about a pollen patty recipe you want to share? We will discuss Beekeeping 101, suggest excellent reading materials, and who knows? You may even have a little honey on your lips as you depart! If a flock is to seagulls, what’s a group of beekeepers? An argument!!! (This summit does not require prior experience—we encourage wannabeekeepers to attend as there will be a lot of BuzzInn going on)!!! Beek out with us! Find us near the Do More Now's 7 story firehouse on 7:30 & Beeeeeee!
