Consumerism has become an addiction in mainstream society that has disconnected us from our roots, each other and the planet. Each decision we make, from the food we eat to the clothes we buy, has an impact on people and environments around the world. The complexities of the systems in place can be overwhelming to digest so we typically disregard them. However, once we take the time to trace the roots of our purchases, it becomes empowering to witness how big a difference one person, you, can make.
