Is it shing? ching? sheeng? Taught by a non-native speaker who learned the difference between s, sh, ch, zh, and x the hard way. We'll go over some common names. We'll cover standard Mandarin pinyin spelling and pronounciation. No promises for old-school Wade-Giles style spellings or Cantonese.
