Within this presentation, Little Bear (Ranger Lead, Burning Seed Australia) will talk about his work on the frontline of the refugee crisis in Greece, France, Lebanon and Iraq. Working as a photojournalist, a Lawyer and a Camp Manager for a number of different local grass-roots NGOs, Little Bear provides a brief overview of the European Refugee Crisis from 2015 to now. Beyond this, Little Bear will also detail how his training as a Red Earth Ranger from Burning Seed was instrumental in his work in the field. The talk will discuss how the work of Rangers does not stop at Exodus and when a Burn ends, but rather can provide us with a toolkit that can serve whatever community (or emergency) we find ourselves in.
