Description:

Real, live music from kick ass rockers. Thursday-Saturday, 4-7P & 9P-12A. "Life is too damn short for crappy music." Come dance your ass off with Greg and Doug, the organic jukebox duo from the Great White North. These guys know rock: with a mental catalogue of over 3,000 tracks, they can move the crowd like Jagger.

Star Star Roadhouse is a destination… a local joint for wayward Burners looking for something different. Here you can catch a live show: classic rock, moody blues or bluegrass… a rare experience at Burning Man. The sound system will be modest: what you'd expect to find at a honky tonk venue with live music. Shows will be twice daily from 4-7, and 9-midnight, with an occasional after hours exception. We will be collaborating with many promoters on playa to book a variety of live bands. Yoga & dance classes will also be offered.

The stage will be decked out in classic Americana and vintage California-Nevada highway stylings, with colorful lighting, a sun bleached facade, shaded dance floor and lounge area with comfortable seating. Billiards and darts provide additional play and other interactive games are in the plans.

For added excitement and a visually stunning art experience, Artist Jamie Vaida & Crew are building the Fertility Twin mutant vehicles with indirect LED lighting, flame effects, and audio. They will either be parked near the stage or out rocking the playa with classic tunes transporting participants physically and musically.

We believe that the live music experience is unique and often absent at Burning Man and “Star Star Roadhouse” would be thrilled to offer it to the community.
